I swear these monkeys get crazier every day. We finally took the pacifiers away 2 1/2 weeks ago and they are doing great. That was a shock. They still mention “nunu” every now and then and when I say no I receive a very dirty look. It’s really nice not having to keep up with them anymore. My next baby will not get one. At least that is what I’m saying now.
We also got our other puppy this past weekend. Her name is Tibby and she is very cute and very bad. Are we crazy or what? 2 puppies and 2 monkeys about to be 2. But as Torey put it, “We do things in 2’s now.”
Meet Cooper, the newest member of our family. He is a 7 week old red tri Australian Shepherd. We are getting another one in 2 weeks when she is 7 weeks. Her name will be Tibby and she is a blue merle. So far the boys love him, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time before someone gets a bo-bo.
And please keep us in your thoughts because today the noonies went bye-bye. Dalton and Gavin are not happy with this at all and decided to skip naptime because of it. I have put 3 pacifiers in the garbage so far and I have to round up the other ones so that noone is tempted. This week is going to be lts of fun!
Sure, if you tell me how! lol
Do not park the stroller next to a very beautiful fountain while admiring it. A monkey just might throw their pacifier into it.

Last night my sister and I brought the boys out to eat to a local Mexican restaruant. They have always been good when we go out as long as they have snacks and maybe some toys. But of course all good things must come to an end. They were horrible! It was really funny though. As soon as we sat down and gave the boys each a couple of chips, Gavin accidently hit one and smashed it. After that he was laughing and trying to smash everything he could. So then we get the colors out and after trying to eat them, Gavin lauches one across the table towards a booth. So then we get our food and they were ok for a few minutes while they shoveled rice and french fries into their mouths. But then they both decided they need a fork to eat. We ended up with 4 forks on the floor. And the finale was when Gavin started throwing rice by the handfuls and Dalton did a frisbee toss with his plate full of food. Nice. Good thing it was a bunch of moms surrounding us laughing and that the waitress loved them!
The park was exactly what I expected. Dalton and Gavin loved it and had so much fun, but of course there was a moment of panic. They both climbed to the top of the big slides but only Gavin slid down. Dalton decided to just stand there at the edge where there is an opening to slide down a pole. Did I mention that this is about 8ft high and I am only 5ft 1.5 inches. Yes, I said 5 ft 1.5 inches. I need that .5 of an inch. Anyway, so there I am standing under Dalton trying to get him to turn around to go slide while I praise Gavin for sliding and watch him walk back over to the steps, or at least that is what I thought. Once he got by the steps he gave me a look and then headed towards our truck. What am I suppossed to do now? Run after the one running away to the truck (not by a road or any other vehicles) or do I keep yelling at him to come back while I try to get the one 3 feet above me down? Luckily, there was a lady there that stood by Dalton while I ran for Gavin who just wanted his water.
So I thought I would try this bogging thing out. I think this will be a good way to keep up with my boys, I mean monkeys, since I’m horrible about keeping up with their baby books. I’m actually lucky right now and am enjoying their naptime.
I really don’t know much about blogging other than you just type what you feel so right now I’m feeling tired from my step class this morning. The music was screwed up somehow and was a few beats faster than normal, so we got a faster workout. I guess that’s good, but I’m tired and it is only noon. The plan for today is to take D&G to the park after lunch. That will be interesting. I’ve always been scared to bring them to the park by myself because they tend to take off running in opposite directions. But I found one close by that is fenced in, so hopefully we can keep the monkeys caged. Wish us luck!
